How to Take Your Shahada &
Embrace Islam

Taking the Shahada is the first and most important step of entering Islam. You can book a free, private session to recite it with us online.

What is the Shahada?

The Shahada (testimony of faith) is the gate of entry into Islam. It is the belief and public declaration of two fundamental truths: that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah (monotheism), and that Muhammad is His final messenger.

َأشْهَدُ َأ لا ِالَهَ ِالاّ اللّهُوَأشْهَدُ َأنْ مُحَمَّداً رَسُولُ اللّهِ
"Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah."
"I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

How to Convert to Islam

Converting to Islam is a direct relationship between you and Allah. It does not require complex ceremonies, baptism, or church-like permissions. If you believe in your heart that Allah is one and Muhammad is His messenger, you are ready to say the Shahada and become a Muslim.
