And We shall make easy for you [O Muhammad] the easy way [i.e., the doing of righteous deeds].

The Prophet SAW said:
"My Nation is a Nation that has mercy on it."
Related by Ahmad (19179,19253); Abu Dawood (4278); and al-Hakim (8372), on the authority of Abu Moosa. And al-Hakim declared this hadith to be authentic.
He also said:
"When I give you a command, follow it as much as you are able to."
